Samsung has embedded Windows XP into these two LCD
monitors with 40″ and 46″ LCD sizes. Both sizes have a
low pixel count at only 1366 x 768, a response time of
8ms, a 800:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 500
cd/m2. Average to below-average specifications,
especially in the brightness category. Viewing angles
are 170 degrees all around and includes HDMI, RGB,
S-Video and component video in.
Samsung’s MagicNet network technology allows a network
computer to push media files such as videos, documents,
pictures, and music to these monitors. Another cool
feature of these monitors are built-in Ethernet ports.
Get rid of the VGA ports, DVI ports, HDMI ports, all of them to connect video to the computer. Instead, use Ethernet. Ethernet is simpler, lighter, cheaper. At Gigabit Ethernet speeds (1000 mbps = 125 mBps), there’s plenty of room to send Full HD to the monitor.
Imagine communicating clearly without saying a word. The Samsung 460PX and 460PXn 46in LCD monitors deliver your information and your messages in big, bright fashion. In lobbies or in lunchrooms, these leading-edge monitors feature our exclusive Digital Natural Image-enhancement (DNIe™) technology. DNI™ includes a motion optimizer that separates noise and blur from the signal for the sharpest pictures, a color optimizer that adjusts saturation to levels the human eye sees as natural, a contrast enhancer that enhances detail without adding noise and flicker, and a detail enhancer that eliminates disturbances in the signal. It’s technology that communicates. The Samsung 460PX and 460PXn 40" LCD monitors also feature 1200:1 contrast ratios, 500 nits brightness, 178˚ viewing angles and fast 8 ms response times. And the 400PXn features our MagicInfo, an XP-based technology that lets you network monitors through an existing LAN, allowing you to stream video from a single source to many monitors, and eliminating the need for any remote PCs. Make sure your message has maximum impact. With the Samsung 460PX and 460PXn, it’s not hard to imagine.
