The Intel® Server Board SE7230CA1-E offers a unique small form factor and essential server-class features that are ideally suited for HPC and other high density applications where cost, power consumption, and density are a key consideration.

Traditional ATX form factor boards have typically enabled one node per 1U chassis whereas this new small form factor board enables two nodes in the same space. The board has been optimized for rack mount use in datacenters for HPC, web, and appliance servers where I/O expansion is not required and remote management is often preferred.

The Intel® Server Board SE7230CA1-E delivers outstanding performance through a combination of fast system bus (up to 1066MHz), support for Intel® dual-core processors, and up to 8GB of DDR 533/667 memory. The board has a vertical connector that enables shorter chassis depth designs.
